In my gallery I have pictures of the Acrobatic finished and flying inverted.

I have been flying the Acrobatic for two months, it is Awesome Very 3Dable.

Next week I'm going to upgrade the motor to 26cc should be interesting

Now I know where the pictures in the Vario Catalog 12 came from. It looks like they are yours.

Keep us posted about the change to 26cc. Does it have decent power with the 'standard' 23 cc?

It has loads of power on the 23cc, I am going to test it with 26cc but it might be over powered I will post my verdict.

This heli has been sold in the UK and Europe for over 2 months.

I think there might be more to it than just the big parts You also need to check the ball length on the swash plate etc, the fly bar and paddles (very long fly bar!!! / very light paddles ) is the gear ratio the same???. New exhaust - front mounted to get the CG correct. The rear under carriage strunt is in two pieces 12mm main shaft - etc, etc, etc, etc. Very light Benzine

I think you might be right than meets the eyes. I'll study the manual from tvhalter's site.. 12mm shaft that gotta need the head block change and swings a set of long mean blades..

Heli_Gal:

The Acrobat comes in 2 versions. One with 72.5 cm blades and one with 80 cm blades. These blades are 1 cm wider than the SAB710's I have on my Fury so I guess you are right about swinging a set of long mean blades.

cost

What is the cost on this ship? I am looking for a first gasser to fly since my buddie has a reg benzin and Z230 23cc motor That we fly the S*hit out of. What is the motor that would be the best for 3d on this?

Any comments on a good 3d setup is welcome...ie best blades motor.

In Europe the machine costs about $1560, the engine (G230RC1) is $575 and the exhaust is $230.

Tim, Thanks for the info.. I wonder how much of the common parts shared with the regular benzin?.. mine gearing is 85/23 , 431 blades.(short blades). Just trying to decide how much of the common parts that is shared beside it has a bigger engine. If I dont have to change too much I might go for the shorter version of the Acrobatic..

When???

Any word when the Acrobat will be released in the US.

Who would be the best to contact now to order one overseas direct?

I tried to find one, I found one site that said roughly 1500.00 US but does not say if this is complete with muffler and engine...

Any help would be great.

I love my new Benzin Trainer. I put about half a gallon through it today.
I tis very smooth indeed.

This is Vario's own internet site: http://www.vario-helicopter.de/ in Germany. I've heard that you can order from them directly but I've never done that myself. You could try to contact them.

Not listed

It is not listd as far as I can tell. Not to good at German. Anyway, if someone knows where to order from and they speak even broken English, let me know.

ExtremelyFurious:

I know it is not listed. Vario doesn't maintain there own pages very well. You could post on their forum (see website), I know they will be able to read English and answer in English language.

Another thing you could try is email them directly at: VARIO-Helicopter@gmx.de

Good luck,

Tim

Thnaks

I have emailed, no response as of yet. Still hoping though.

You would really put one of these up against a Fury with a YS91 on 30% nitro?
