Regarding your last question, I am not sure what you mean by the "aux 3" page reference. When in the page for code 44, you can set code 44 to respond either to flight modes or to aux-3. Is this what you refer to? If so, you are correct, this will give you selection of rates 0 and 1 from the rudder d/r switch, which is the way I run. You cannot access rate 2 this way. For those who want to "tweak" the gain, I don't see any reason that the basic setup could not still work this way, and run a mix from aux 4 or aux 5 to "tweak" the gain in flight.

Tim, agreed. We also need to consider the experience of who is asking the question, when we give an answer, as there are often times MANY ways to baffle someone in this sport. My "method" is tailored to the newbee intermediate who does not need nine different flight modes, with separate this, and special that, with all kinds of baffeling features. Sometimes we need the quick and dirty set-up.
