MADGUNS Senior Heliman Location: RAF Mildenhall
| I hooked up my Hbird with a large smoke bomb left over from the 4th
It looks like a nitro heli on steriods with the amount of smoke belching out of it. The neighborhood kids get a kick out of it while the adults look at me like Im some kind of retard
Rockets I could hook up I am sure ....dangerous... Definatly
Probably dont want to swing down that route
BB guns on the other hand
Go to Ebay and type in bb gun and see what comes up.
They sell these sort of sport scale replicas of MP-5's and M-16's that shoot 6mm plastic BB's I say sport scale because they look like they were shrunken down and they are pistol size that you shoot with one hand. Anywho I have one of these little bastards and they are pretty neat.
They have a 280 size motor on them and they have like a small fake scope that holds around 250 BB's When I went to Korea some time ago I picked one up as it was only $5.00 "$20.00 on Ebay"' They run on 4 AA batterys. I rigged mine with 8 and it had the rate of fire of a 50caliber machine gun! You could with some extensive modifications mount one of these on a humminbird. The mods you would have to make would consist of cutting all the non essential plastic away to make it light enough. You would also have to solder in a capacitor to the motor and hook up a speed control or switch with a servo. I am quite sure that if you were running one of those awesome brushless set ups you could lift the weight of the lightened gun. These BB guns are not to be taken for TOYS. They sting like a mother. People in Japan Korea and everywhere else where lawyers are not running there country use these as there version of paintball. They get all dressed up and get the bigger guns that look real and go after each ofther with them. These "MINI" Guns would be pretty cool on a hummingbird. The BB's come out fast enough to sting but slow enough to see. You can even get orange colored BB's so they look like tracers!
Can you tell I had already given this som thought? LOL |
