I heard that you could charge a KoKam with a cell phone charger.
What are the things I am suppose to look out for?
Has anyone tried it?

You can if you get the right charger. If you get it wrong, you convert your Kokams into expensive balloons. Most of the modern cellphones use a single lithium cell, so they are no good for charging packs. Some of the older charger cords used circuitry inside the phone for charging. Better to get a commercial charger, or get a cellphone charger from one of the battery vendors who has verified that it will work with LiPoly packs.

Bishop Power Products sells an excellent inexpensive slow charger for Kokam cells, up to 2 cell packs.

It is basicly and cell phone charger, takes 2 hours to charge a 2 cell 1020 pack and a little longer to charge E-tech 1200 2 cell pack.

It's all I ever use, I bought two of them and I often leave my packs plugged in for days at a time with no problems.
They only cost $6.95 when you get some Kokam or E-tec batteries.
If you get a few you can buy a cigarette lighter spliter from radio shack.
