I am thinking to buy a new engine. I´ve been using for a long time OS engines and in my experience they are really good and run smooth.

Would you recommend me to try a YS?? Which one has more power with 15% nitro and a hatori muffler? Does YS is hard to set?

Thank you guys,

Vic.

Most flyers that I know with the OS 61 are running 30% nitro fuel, I think that the OS runs best with it. I have been running the YS ST 2 on 10-15% nitro fuel and the heli rock and rolls NEARLY as hard as the OS on 30% and the YS is as happy as can be! The needle settings are very easy to get right, the YS will "rattle" a bit if the bottom is a bit too lean. The YS smokes a bunch even when it's nearing lean so I try to error on the good side, but the needles are just about "set it and forget it" as Ron Popeil says (Ronco). The YS is silky smooth.

As for your question, I will say that on 15% nitro the YS makes more than the OS with the same, on 30% the YS may also make more but I don't know, I haven't graduated to it yet! Me's too cheeeep!
