The camera that I have in mind, hooks into the Rx it does not require a second battery like the cheap e-bay models.

Ya, I thought about that but I don't want to spend anymore right now because I am saving it all for my next heli.... well as much as I can.

I have a Sony Ex-View board camera and a 500mw. transmitter that I plan to use, and will definitely need a 3S LiPo battery to power it. In fact, the one Century is selling for the HB will work well and the price is right.

That must be a power hungy cam! 10.8 volts! Would a 8.4 2 cell work? I have seen videos taken with it and they are practicaly flawless. Doesnt helihobby sell the same set up for 289.00? May not be the same brand.

Sputnik,
I agree with everything you said except I am not sure that all of the wireless cameras have the regulator built into the connector? I have one of the all in one cameras. If this is true I need to look into running it off the esc.

BTW, I can run mine down to about 7 volts and still have sound. Any lower, I lose the sound but still have a picture.
