I yanked my JR rx and installed a Fut 149DP in the Joker last night.

I'm curious what the Futaba crowd uses for throttle and start up with the Fut. digital trims instead of JR slider on the throttle trim?

(I ended up mixing the left dial to throttle for startup, but not being a very smart man I'm sure there has to be a better way)

From what i have heard also, you must reverse your throttle channel for things to work properly.

that is correct futaba has to be reversed on the throttle with the kohler and hacker controllers...

What I do is to use the same pitch curve for all four modes. Then set the normal throttle curve for a gradual ramp up (~1/4 stick travel) to say about 80% of max throttle. Then set Idle 1 for a flat line all the way across at say 90% and idle 2 for a flat line at 100% all the way across. These percentages are approximate and will vary depending upon your ATV's and the like but you get the idea. Normal is just a startup curve and you fly in either idle 1 or 2. Leave the governor turned off if your using the Jeti. And yes, Futaba has to be reversed for either the Actronic or Jeti controllers.
