"I was testing out a new brushless setup with a reciever that was laying around (stock reciever for 6XHS). The case was off of the reciever and the battery wires to the speed control were bare. I think I must have hit some of the wires to the reciever because it stopped working. I tried it with a battery and a servo and still didn't work."

Thats what happened to my reciever but the esc also started to smoke a little. One of the chips burnt of the heat shrink on top of the it. It isn't the burnt just a little singed and the esc seems to work perfectly. Is there any hidden esc damage?

Definitely broken

Its definitely broken, I think I might have also reversed the polarity today also. Well one of the chips fell of so its definitely gone. I already bought a new one. I had a phoenix 25 but I bought a new 10. So now can I have the 25 fixed for a good price. Is it worth doing anything with it.
