| Just bought a s/h picollo pro..and having problems. The previous owner got fed up with it, and I thought that I would have some joy with it, having had experience with the original picollo, and also in the big helis.. Anyway, Wired up everything, and seemed fine until I smoked the tail FET on the board! Managed to source another pro board, and everything seemed fine with all the controls working. It wasn't pluged in for more than 10 seconds, and the Tail Fet Smoked again..The tail Fet is a definate gonner(Again)... The only reason I can conclude is that their must be a short in either the wires leading up to the tail motor, or the tail motor is faulty. Am I correct in saying that I can wire up the tail motor to the battery directly to test it...or is there a step down current from the controller to the tail motor, and should not attempt this? I'm really at my wits end! I don't fancy forking out getting the boards repaired, and then having the same thing happen again..
Anyone with any ideas, or suggestions, would be gratefully appreciated! |
