Blade-X Senior Heliman Location: Singapore
| Just to confirm on the tail and motor problems. I have been thru 1 stock main and two tails.... If you get the 370, stick with the 10 teeth and switch the tail to a B2C.( I burnt the two stock tails on the new 370 ).. It'll last better and more fly longer.... alongside these, I say it is a MUST for the Shaft collar Mod, and he pitch adjustors and the head stiffner.....
The pitch adjustors help to track the blades perfectly and the head stiffner gives more lift and response in all occasions... My advice for the shaft collar mod... I got 4 of that for only $2USD.... I used 3mm wheel retainers that are used for aircraft... You just have to make sure one end is tapered... and that tampered end sits on the top main shaft bearing...... To be 100% safe.... tamper the top end of the shaft collar when it's in postion ( just spool up the heli without tail blades and main rotor assy and put a needle file gently on the top edge of the collar) This ensures that the spinning shaft collar will not grind the swash when the cyclics are at full throw......
The Head stiffner I made was from an ice cream stick... and I reamed out the two holes using a philips screw driver.... make sure you chage the blade screws to 3mm ( which means you have to make the holes bigger ) and get 3/4 - 1 inch long 3mm screws with nuts to secure this assy..... |
