... in crashing my Silence.

Have been trying for exactly 1 year (on 9/23/2002 I ordered my kit) and so far had 3 close calls. And yesterday, out of a sudden, I learned the maneuver.

Not much damage, skids, 1 blade, 1 tail blade, boom (no boom strike but cleanly ripped off just behind the fittings), carbon torque tube.
My order to VARIO for the needed parts adds up € 216,60 not to mention some occasional upgrades

How the hell is it possible to only damage one of each blade. Thats gonna save you some bucks. No not really.

I don't really know myself ... the second main blade doesn't show a single scratch (though it was also a little green at the end), and the one damaged tail blade is only slightly damaged where it folded and hit against the blade grips.

Maybe VARIO checks the surviving main blade for me and matches it to a new one.

Nice thing about having no flybar and paddles, btw: I don't have to replace those

Nice thing about (expensive, I have to admit) VARIO glass blades: put them on, spin up, fly. No balancing and adjustment of tracking needed.
Luckily no shafts and linkages were damaged ...
