What is the ideal setting for Lipo pack 4s4p 8200mAh using a Shulze isl8-936 charger?
Would you charge individually 14.8V or 29.6V using 10amps 8cells 8200mAh?

Inverted-3D,

I am not familiar with the shultz charger, but the general rule is that li-po should not be charged more than a 1/C rate. That would be 8.2 amps on the 8200 mah pack. On the triton charger you would set it up for 4 cells, 14.8 volts and unfortunately the triton is limited to only 2.5 amps. So it would take over 3 hours to charge a depleted pack. Generally your charger would see a 4s4p pack as 4 cells.

Be careful !

Hi Inverted-3D,

be careful, you may NOT charge LiPolys with the ISL8-936 !
See homepage of Schulze at http://www.schulze-elektronik-gmbh.com/index_uk.htm :
"We have also not implemented
a program for charging Li-ion batteries.
At present the accuracy of the voltage display is not good enough to cope with the highly sensitive Li-ion cells, and this means that they could be damaged by overcharging."

The 936 does not support these cells, only the new 330, 430 and 636 do support them.
