How do you go about picking the right tail servo
when you are a beginner.

Can you mix types.

Thank you

Get the 401 9253 combo you won't regret it. Otherwise "anything" will "work".

The cheapest solution is a Telebee 701 and a hitec 525BB. This would run about 130. The best solution is a futaba 401 with a 9253 servo. The 401 is a great little unit, and it outperforms everything in its price class, so I have heard. I do have a 401, and it whoops up on the telebee I used to have. www.helihut.com has them for 217 shipped, or any of the other shops, (ricks, heliproz) for closer to 300. The advantage of the other shops is better warranty coverage, and US distributors. I went with CHEAP and bought from helihut.

Thanks, John Cadwell

I have just upgraded my shuttle servo to a NES-810G seems to work fine holds the tail quite well even in this strong wind and at around £60.00 quite cheap for a 0.1s/60.
