| Hello
I have use 3 HS50s and that setup worked fine but for some reason I decided to try a HS55 on the pitch. I found that I had slightly faster pitch response and I actually like having it so I decided to keep it. Give 3 HS50s a go, that setup is solid.
Ill tell you now that the GY240 is a much better gyro than the CSM. DO some research on the Ezone. You will find that there are some who get it to work and some who dont and for those who do, some end up switching to the GY240s anyways and then finding that the GY was a much better system to use. Oh and so you know the JR410 HH gyro is also a very good gyro to use(this is what Im using), but if I didnt pick this guy up on RR for 50 bucks I would have gotten a GY240. Just so you know I have used a GY240 on other micro and they are really solid.
The 18L does have more umph than the 31s and can dissipate heat faster. Both the 18L and the 31s are good choices with the 8 tooth pinion on 3 Etech 1200's. I recommended teh 18L because that is what I would go with if I had to do it again.
The reason for the PMP head is Aerobatics with an insainly high HS(2500-3000), keep things together. Try the plastic head and then try this head, I guarentee you that the PMP head will improve the way your hleli flys. It is very well made and has bearing for the flybar to go in which makes it very smooth.
The carbon fiber/bakingsoda mod I did was nessary to keep the blades from comming out of track. I and other have found that the flex in the Pic Pro rotor head can cause the blades to go into a flutter and it is not a pretty sight.
Here is an example(from Germany) of almost the exact setup I recommened to you.
