e-Century Hummingbird - Swift > Trades??

Hi all,
I'm new to heli's. Been flying park flyers for about 2 years but I want something to fly in my driveway. I have been considering the Hummingbird.

Let me ask a question or two about the Hummer. I was thinking of purchasing one but don't want to spend alot of money buying upgrade after upgrade.

I have micro servos, reciever, Futaba 8UHFS, and ESC. One question I have is what is the century mixer used for? Is there any other way to do what it does? Such as mixing with the radio? I'm not interested in 3D flying or anything fancy. This will just be for hopping around my very small backyard and driveway. Would the Hummingbird be ok for this type of flying as is (I.E. Stock)?

Anyone want to trade a Hummer kit for a RC-10 electric car with radio, battery, and charger?

Thanks,
Rod

The Century mixer aka Hummingboard is basically used to provide 'revo mixing' which most computer radios are capable of anyways. As the main rotor speed increases the hummingboard increases the tail rotor speed to counteract the torque from the main rotor(the body of the heli will rotate anti-clockwise otherwise). If you go the method of not using the Hummingboard, you will need to buy another small ESC for the tail rotor motor.

If I am not mistaken and I probbly am... I think the basic Himmingbird kit comes with the Hummingboard mixer. It dosent say that it is not included on the Century web sight. It does state that it includes the tail and main motor though.
