Ok I got my 2-cell lipo pack today and After looking at others I decided to make a mount for the battery that would use the hardware that was allready on the bird so here is what I came up with.

1. take the front birdseed battery off and flip it over with the hook at the top, and slid it on to the 2 rails, hold them inplace witht he little rubber stoppers.

2. pull the back birdseed as far forward as it will slid and move the rubber stoppers forward to hold it in place.

3. Next take a medium ziptie and wrap it around the too post and snug it around the battery ( see picture below not too tight just enough to hold the pack.

4. now the neat part clip a rubberband on the bottom clip over the front of the pack and hook tot he top clip. your done..

Nice job on the mod.

Where did you get the battery?

How long are your flight times?

How many times have you charged/recharged the battreies?

Thanks in advance fort your time.

How's the canopy fit?

I have the ETech batteries and have not had a lot of luck getting them to fit in the canopy. They do, but the canopy is TIGHT and almost stretched. Getting it off and on is a pain.

I need the batteries as far forward as possible to maintain a neutral CG.

Do you have more pics that show how your other gear is installed?

I am very interested in other solutions (then mine) which is not as well thought out as yours.

Thanks,

Keith
