I don't know. I'm still thinking of going on Saturday. Might be nice and uncrowded.

Well.... Rick and I ended up going to the Wram show today and it was the same old Wram Show. Nothing New..Nothing Different. Seemed like a good turn out.

I enjoyed the WRAM show and the company. I gave in to temptation and bought a Polks' DC 3! It is quite impressive in size. I'm kind of anxious to build it, but not really sure when I will get started on it. I can tell you this- I sure am ready for some nicer warmer weather!

I had a great flight off the snow. That little Eaglet is just awesome. It won't stall. You can idle down, hold full up elevator and it just mushes along with directional control intact.

The field was smooth snow except where someone had done some heli flying.

Club account update, We have a current balance of $984.13 in our savings account. I wanted to get everyones input, What are we going to do this year ??

Ideas.

Maybe a New 8ft. table and scrap the old one?
Maybe schedule a FunFly/ cookout again??

are we goint to collect anything this year to keep a balance,
Collect a lessor amount or nothing at all?

Also was thinking of moving the Money to ING Direct to an Orange savings account that would earn 3.40% interest vs. .25% we earn now.

That's Amazing! I'm good with a table or 2. Or a fun fly. And I'm open to anyone else's ideas.

One thing I'd like to get done is getting our AMA certification. Are we Orange County Flyers (OCF)? Or Orange County Rotors and Planks (OCRAP)? I like the second one myself.

Hey !! what ever happended to getting the Runway fixed ? Did anyone ever talk to ED ? Personally, I would be more interested in getting that done before anything else. I'm tired of rippin out landing gear and I bet AL is too.

besides the "wheel eating hill" whats the consensus on needed runway repairs? My tiller could chew the wheel eating hill down, and a little raking action would smooth it out. A couple of weeks later it would be green and smooth.

The runway could really use the work, It would be cheap to do maybe some dirt and grass seed. Just would need to vefiry with Ed thats it is ok before we do anything. Al can have that conversation.

Tables would be nice also, Can someone look around for some table prices? 8ft and treated lumber would be preferred so they last. possibly 2 depending on price.
