I'll be there at any rate, even if I have to fly in the rain to dry the clouds out with a relatively small fan! I can't fly next weekend due to the promotion event in PA which will keep me pretty busy, although I'll be taking Monday off.

Dave, it's great to see an update, glad to hear that your move went well and that you're already getting hooked up with the heli crowd out there. From what you told me it sounds like an impressive bunch of pilots! Wish ya the best of luck in your new town, be sure to spread some large fish stories about the heli guys out here

Ed, I found your parts! I'll call you in the morning and see whats up for transport arrangements, if need be I'll drop some useless junk (spare tire, jack, etc ) off at work first and then head over to your place for aircraft transport!

I see I am not the only guy having rainout problems. All day you say? Last thing I heard was "clear out by mid-morning", but that was last night. Oh well. I am still in my peejammers anyway, and at nearly 10:30am south of New Paltz, it is still coming down pretty good (or bad).

Well, I am for the shower and see what happens. I still planning a little bow hunt this afternoon, but if it don't dry out, I can "fly" all afternoon with the LTD squadron of Fighter Ace. Did you see me leading a Spitfire raid in the pic I put in the gallery? My squad name is Box 6.

Good luck to Dave (whoever you are. Have we met?) in Akron! Keep flying bro!

And you diner dogs... have a doughnut for me!

Today was wet and cold, but got some flying in finally so all worth it. I was really surprised that almost whole gang braved the rain and cold to show up there, color me impressed! Was good to see you made it back when the rain cleared up Rob.

I took off for lunch, then Manzer discovered some extra play time and met up with me at the BK. We went back to fly with the camera, but it's possible that the camera was making the tail servo/gyro on his R30 act up and freak out, so we moved it over to the Zagi and shot some more video with it.

I'm gonna go stick my feet in the oven and warm back up

Color Me A Wimp

OK, I am a fair weather flyer. If it's rainy and cold I wont come out, I don't do rain, but I do like snow, and convienently the heli's already have ski - how about that? Go figuer, when its cooler and the snow just blows around that does not bother me, nor does the cold. But rain.....

Anyhow,

Sar, and Manzer I hope you enjoy my form a compensation for your services and hope to see you all next week!

AJT, I'll call ya on Tues for Wed and Happy Birthday to ya!

Yess excellent compensation. THANK you much, just opened up another cold one. Just in case anyone doubts that it was rainy or cold today, or perhaps spent a warm day in the house sharpening arrows and restringing bows, etc

Look at this!? How can these guys fly helicopters, but they did. Pretty soon someone is gonna have to start bringing a snowblower with them

pete (nexus) get my number from your bud and we'll hook up and get your nexus figured out this week so next week you can al least fly it.
rob will get him straight. i found some cutting wheels for my dremel we can mod you mount to work.

Al will be doing 3-D next week i think he is just doing so well, i better get more air time or he'll be Sar and I. hehe

maybe next week it wont rain and we can enjoy it better.

I'm just glad mine flew again, i still have something causing it to wobble a bit when spooling up, i'll find it eventually.

Nice to see rob come back out, i didnt know there was a home depot in new paltz...lol

Wow! What a crew----- Looks like something out of Rain wars. Use the umbrella LUKE!! Great time, Real glad too see JON and MIKE back in the air. Both ships flew smooth as silk! RICK you missed a good time. Rob flew his FURY. God he's good! VERY smooth and controlled almost like watching a pattern ship. (Too be that good!! Well maybe someday.) I can't believe how smooth he is!!. The best loops I've ever seen with a HELI. Big JOHN flew his 50 size JR HELI another great flying bird. He has come leaps & bounds from the last time I saw him fly. Good going JOHN! I have some catching up too do. Pete was working and FRANK was among the missing. JON flew his 60 RAPTOR and as usual made it look easy. Everybody drove MIKE nuts. Poor guy had too try too set up every new guys HELI Puls his own. We really owe you big time for that! ED showed up but didn't stay long. He and I will be getting together this week too do some flying. I'am off for ten days now. So if anybody is up for some flying let me know. As for my birthday I've started to count backwards. Thanks ED. Can't wait till next week. We are starting to get a great group of guys together! It really makes it FUN. Some where along the line I Stopped having FUN with the AIRPLANE group. Why? is hard too tell. Lets just say that the new breed of flyers are out too have a good time. And have no interest in club politics! a very refreshing change for me. See everybody later.

Ouch

For real!

I have lots of time now.... I yanked my back out at work! God damn chicken and french fries!

Aside from that I WILL be looking for a new job, SYSCO is over, they left me hangin to unload the truck and never sent anyone to rescue me down in Congers thus agrivating my injury. MRI's and all that stuff coming soon.

Al I still am looking foward to Wednesday! I think I can lift a 5lb airframe, tee hee.

Talk to ya!
