I am looking for carbon fiber lower frames for my Ergo 50. I have contacted Horizon and HeliProz with no luck. Anybody know where I might get a set. Does anybody know where I might be able to get cad plans for the lower frames so I can have the lowers made.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Helis and Hobbies used to make carbon frames for around $150. I think Raves also did. Horizon won't qoute you because they charge over $200 for the frames if you actually wanted to get a set. I have the HHI set which have lasted for quite sometime.

Try Quick UK and Revolution Models. I got mine from them in two occasions. However they do not advertise it on thier web page anymore. You will have to email them and ask them.

The one Quick UK offered is slightly thicker then the original aluminium frames. So you will need to shim the engine mount, reciever mounts etc.

The one Revolution offers is made by NHP. Exact fit.

I purchased a set of Carbon Frames from HHI for my Standard Ergo 30/46 and I purchased a Set of JR Carbon Frames for my Ergo 46/50 CCPM from Cyberheli

Try Raves design. Dave is in process of making some for us in Houston. He also has Ergo 60 frames. I don't know the price yet on the 50 but he said $120 for the 60 frames.
