Are you getting good performance from the stock tail servo location
or have you moved your tail servo to a boom mount?

With my Joker CX I've got OK performance with a JR 460 and 8417
servo and in my Maxi OK performance with the Futaba 401/9253
setup, but I expected to move the servo to a boom mount to allow
a longer arm. Has anyone done this and does it make a difference?
I think it might since I'm running my 401 at 90% (100% ATV), but
before I cut up the pushrod I'd like to know what others have done.

I am running mine on a mount (DBC) from heliproz.com that is sized to fit a Kalt heli... It works nice once a small strip of sandpaper is CA'd to the the inside of the straps that hold it to the boom... You don't have to take the boom off to install and it holds tight with no movement at all...

I run the 401/9253 combo (I fly a CX) and have the arm at 12mm with 75% gain and it is rock steady... I use MAH 105's at the tail...

I have never set up my machine with the tail servo in the frames as I wanted to set the tail linkage and not have to adjust it if I ever had to tighten the "belt"...

Click on my gallery and you can just see it in the 5th picture...
