Do you think Electric Helicopter like the rc Hummingbird from Centry? or do you think Gas rc Helicopterare better?

Electric helicopters are coming along in leaps and bounds, especially with the new Lithium Polymer cells which will stretch flight times to reasonable levels.
However I prefer Gas or glo engined models. The reason being they are bigger and heavier, thus more stable outdoors in wind. You can fly for longer per session, especially with petrol. I also like the mechanics involved with IC engines.
If you can already fly, it's personal choice.
If you are a beginner, I would recommend gas.

????????????????????

I am a begginer but i dont think gas helicopter are safe because i have herd some realy bad news on the news channel where people get killed or get injured by getting cut ! and plus im going to buy it for my 12 year old sun and i dont want him too get heart!!

But wats the difrense of an Electric helicopter and a Gas Helicopter?
is it true that electric helicopter are weeker then gas heli? but how much Weight do you think an Electric Heli can support? i am thinking of adding a bb gun or a rocket to it like the armed rc helicopter i saw on the internet!

Can wind actualy blow an electric heli away? because some time i go to the beach and i know there are strong wind out there!

Thank you and pleas return to me ASAP

Rc Hummingbird is an idiot. I cant believe he thinks that and talks about mounting that crap on his e-heli. It is illegal to do that you know, and anyways unless your experienced you could really damage property and hurt someone. Copters are for pleasure. And giving a weapon to HIS SON !!!!! that could destruct porperty, kill and surely cause injury is ABSURD. You can bes arrested and the AMA prohibits this within their regisrty.

Electric helis are better if you have no help. I mean NO HELP. You want something that can take crashes and survive. A crash on the fun piccolo would cause at most 30 where as a crash on a nitro would cause minimum 40. If you have help and have someone to help you set it up and trim the copter then i would suggest a nitro. The centruy hawk sport would give you beginning manuvers at a cheap price. If you want to go into more 3d then get the Raptor V2 49BB.

I'd appreciate a new category ... something like "Way off topic" or "Not from this planet". Some people should post directly into the recycle bin.

How could the german educational system score so badly in the international "PISA contest"?

My-oh-my ...

@budc: in 2000 there was some kind of contest to compare the level of young people's general education in different areas, and (un-)surprisingly german students didn't come out too good ...

If you're interested: http://www.pisa.oecd.org

I just happended to think if I judged by the writing of some more or less literate members of RR Germany couldn't be THAT bad

On the other hand, don't really know if trolls were tested also
