Hi all,

Has anyone had any experience with this motor/controller combo for just sport type flying on a Hornet CP?

I want a brushless motor for a good price - and I'm more interested in duration than straight power. I'm using 3x ETEC 1200 LiPo's.

Any comments appreciated.

Thanks,

Jon.

The 010 is a fine choice for the Hornet, use a 13 tooth pinion and you will get 20+ minutes with moderate aerobatics, loops, rolls ect. If you fly it hard it will give you about 15 minutes. The motor runs real smooth and has very good power.

Thanks for the advice. This motor sounds ideal for my kind of flying and good value for money compared to other brushless motors out there - I'll give one a wirl!
