hey all,

I am about 50% through the construction of the joker and i must say what a nice machine... The parts are precise and exact... All of the parts are super organized in the bag to each step, no searching for parts across multiple bags and steps... I cant wait to finish the machine....

I received the esc mount from tim and it looks great, it will definitely be a nice compliment to the machine.

A question for everyone... What servo horns are you guys using, standard futaba or heavy duty? and also how far out are you going on the balls. i think the manual states 17mm

Larry, I use aluminum ones at 18mm on mine but have used Dubro HD ones at the same measurement on the ones I built for others... I run 9252's and can get all the pitch you can possibly use with this setup.

I should be home tomorrow most all day since we didn't seem to hurt anything up in Cleveland tonight... Maybe it will be an easy two days till they leave again...

Hey Tim,

Continuing progress on the Joker.. I am up to step 16 i think.. putting the tail on the machine. Everything is continuing nice and smoothly.

As far as the shipping, i guess send it priority mail as originally planned.. I think i should have it within 2 or 3 days.

I took the partially assembled machine to the field today and everybody loved the powertrain, especially the outrunner motor.

I will give you a call at work tomorrow.

I have had mine it the air for about 2 or 3 weeks now and I love it
I am running Tims ESC mount (Tim does a very nice job)
Good luck on the rest of the building
