I have ran r/c trucks for long time and the different headers for 21 size engines there are many different hole sizes on the engine side of the header. we always made the hole as big as possible to better match the engine port.It did make a difference. Now in my first heli with 32 OS and heli max pipe the header hole was very small compared to the engine hole so I dremeled out the header to match as close as possible without grinding the welds then angled ends up. The vertical lengthe was very bad. The on my 60 size OS the weston pipe was the same way so I did same thing. The muffler or pipe that came with the 60 I dont know the brand ,could be a Century now that hole was same size as the engine hole. Is this comman in heli pipes? And does anybody else port match the pipe?

You do not port match the weston or any pipe/header. The back pressure is key to the engines performance, unfortunately I found this out the hard way too. In my case it ran like crap and I had to buy a new header.
