| Maybe NiMHs tend to throw up if one shakes them the right way 
In the meantime I also use NiMHs (Sanyo 3300 HV) in my Silence, about 10 flights, no probs whatsoever.
They last about 14'25'' in my silence.
Power output is great until 11', then voltage drops continuously and the ESC can't keep up RPM.
So you can do anything you want for the first 11 mins and some easy flying or hovering practice until the pack is empty.
