| I have been flying my Logo 10 for a couple of months without any hint of radio glitches, but suddenly I'm experiencing quite a lot of glitching. Pretty much on all channels (the only reason it hasn't fallen out of the sky yet is my superb flying skills ). I'm using PPM (Hitec Eclipse 7 TX and Schulze a835 RX).
The only thing I have changed is the throttle curve which has been increased from 85% (I'm using a flat curve and constant RPM on the ESC) to 90%.
I am using a Mega AC22/30/3 motor (I know it's on the low-powered side, but I'm just learning to fly so I don't need any radical 3D power just yet) and a Schulze future 18.36 ESC. The ESC is set to "high rpm" and a switching frequency of 19 kHz (high). I am at the moment NOT using a ferrite ring on the ESC control lead.
My own theory is that this is the cause of the problem - the combination of increase in motor RPM, high switching frequency and the lack of a ferrite ring on the ESC control lead. Mikado mentions that if you are using a Kontronic Tango motor you MUST use a ferrite ring due to the high switching frequency.
Does this sound plausible?
I'm mounting a ferrite ring on the ESC control lead and trying to lower the throttle to 85% again, but I would like comments from all you clever people out there anyway.
Thanks,
