Thank you for your great research Mr Vega!!

From that link you gave me I think that JR makes one. But I'm not too sure since I don't read Japaneese!

edvp - I don't read japanese either - just the hieroglyphic links .. almost every one in japan knows how to write in english , so do as I do send them an email, you'll never know where it will lead to .. hopefully it's something wonderful you've been waiting for .. I've got other pics somewhere , I'll keep searching s76 references and links for now , I wanted this fuse for a long time too ..

Scale Gear

Who builds a scale articulated landing gear for the S76? The thing has about a gazillion moving parts and folds and compacts in several directions. It would be a pain to try and do and keep the scale door outline.

legs for the spirit

hey gm1!
robart makes a strut that would fit the s-76. it is a straight strut but the axle sits at a 45 degree or so angle. now as far as i know, the gear strut folds straight back, u should be able to use a standard retract (90 degree non rotating). the retract unit sits at a 45 or 50 degree angle. ed vega is pretty knowledgeable on this and may be of more help to ya. is is about as nuts about scale as i am, probably more. anyway, in rotary modeler, tony used robarts on the s-76 he built.

P.S. This is Copter Doctor as I forgot to log out vetrider and he's good enough to let me share his computer.

Subject: JR Sikorsky 76

I think JR is making a Sikorsky S-76 helicopter in a 50 size. It is not available in North America. I think the model # is 49800. Can I get one through you?

Thank you

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your email.

We are sorry that we can not supply it as it is a limited edition which should be ordered at Shizuoka Hobby Show helt in Mid-May. JR makes only the quantity they had an order.
Sorry about it.

Best regards,
S. Maruyama

THE HUNT FOR A SPIRIT

you know guys, it is a shame the s-76 isnt available to us in a fuselage. it isnt that tough to do. the dauphin, ec135 and the md900 explorer are more complicated to do but they exist! if anyone has and i am sure we have, has ever seen one of the full size s-76 fly, you know it is a very very sexy machine. i cant tell you how many times i have spent hours sitting at the east 60th street heliport in new york city just watching them come in over the water and leaving. at e60th st, when they come in, they have to do a 180 degree pedal turn right there in the hover before setting down and dudes that is the coolest s#!t you've ever seen.(yes i am obsessed) it is even cooler when you view this from inside one. the space seems way too small. unfortunately here in dothan alabama, the s-76 is not a frequently seen heli. just apaches, chinooks, oh-58's and blackhawks........boring! boring!! exept for when the apaches are firing hellfires of course. the only s-76 here belonged to alabama power and the ratfinks sold it last year and bought a bell 407. the 407 is nice but its no s-76. the pilots did say they're getting rid of it though and replacing it with another s-76. cool!.
well i have said what is on my mind
later!!! and lets keep our fingers crossed.
