Vario Sky Fox - Benzin - Evolution - Xtreme > Howlong one should wait for a Benzine

After reading this all the comments in this forum about Benzine I decided that my second Heli should be a Vario Benzine. This was almost a month ago and I am still waiting for them to be restocked at Vario so I can order one.
Should I wait or should I move on to other gassers such as Bergan? Even if I buy the Benzine do I need to wait this long for every part thet I might be needing?
Why is it so hard to get them?
I wonder how many customers buy something else because they don't want to wait?

It may because Vario are replacing the "Benzine Trainer" with a Acrobatic version.

They are only going to make the long boom version of the Trainer.

I am glad there are others that think the same. Base on what I have heard I think Vario has a good quality products but does the wait time Justify the quality? Bergan has a good quality gassers and the price is about the same. I still would like to hear from vario folks here in USA why there is such a long wait for their products? Is it because the main dealer is not willing to invest the money to stock the products? If so, maybe Vario needs to give more dealer license to other companies that are willing to carry their products and have deep pocket to stock it too?

What I have heard, true or not, is that Vario US is selling way more heli's than expected and that Varion HQ is not willing or at least can not produce at the rate required

I was also planning on getting a Benzin but after running into this same thing and talking with a new friend about his several Bergens I think I will end up going with them now. The only reason I was going to pick Vario over Bergen in the first place was just because Vario seems very "turnkey". Of course having Chris Bergen right down the road doesn't hurt any either in choosing to fly one of their gas kits

I have seen the Bergen machines at several FF's and of course right at my local field and I love them, awesome precision to detail, amazing craftsmanship. Also I have never met two nicer guys than Larry and Chris. Larry is willing to answer any questions you could possibly have and won't tell ya he has to go because he is swamped, he will keep going till you are smiling.

Bergen is really first rate.

It is my understanding that Josef cannot get the Benzin's in here fast enough to meet the demand. This is not true of all the models, but the gasser, the Experience and the Jetcopter sales are going crazy. However, they are definitely worth the wait. Bergen is a good machine, but is not a Vario. I have all three mentioned above plus an Xtreme and Viper and they all fly so smooth and precise. One flight and you'll be convinced. I know I was.

I am 50% 3D 50% Scale. I would Vote Vario all the way. I love their machines. Most versatile gasser on the market, you can configure it any which way you want. I have been flying my Benzin for over a year now , ans I just bolted on a Vario 5-blade head... man o man is it cool.
Yes you have to wait...and that sucks... But it;s not Josephs fault.
The demand in this country for the Benzin is tremendous as well as around the globe. Look at the product line that Vario has its unbeleiveable just like the quality. Fly one and you will be willing to wait.

Benzin

I dont understand this market, about a month ago I advertised a new assembled Benzin, it took a week to sell it, Josef at that time had over thirty orders he could not deliver.

I have in stock about $10,000 worth replacement parts for Vario , XCell and Century.( however never what I need).

I guess it takes about two months. I finally got mine ordered and shipped today. I should be getting it next week. I will be posting a new topic for those who have been waitting like me so we may compare note during the assembly.
