I have a Raptor 50v2. When I do a manouver like a loop or immelman turn I find the heli rolls slightly to the left on the upwards leg. I need to put maybe 1/8 to 1/4 right aileron to keep it straight. It also does it in the stall turn, but not quite so much. Is this normal?

I think at the end of the day you just "fly" it. I usually have no idea what my fingers are doing

i have the same when flying my caliber.

Most of the time the loop isn't started with the heli totally
horizontal, with a little bank to the left or right. Hard to see and
it doesn't need much of that to get a bad loop.

But most of the time it's just me doing something wrong.

Have you set your swash phasing correctly?

If not, from looking above set your flybar inline with the boom. Adjust the wash-out block so that the balls on the inner swash line up with the outside ones.

I think I found this one out. In my last crash the rods of the metal A-links on elevator got bent (bought the heli with that upgrade installed) so the swash was rotated round slightly. It does seem to climb out straight now that I've made it square.

Crooked Loops

You might want to check the alignment of the horizontal fin. If it is not perfectly level it will cause your loops to corkscrew.

Just a thought!!

Last week I had the same effect with my Voyager 50, I made a loop not exactly faced to the wind and it was the wind that did the rest ,banking to the right OOOPS. I was lucky, I started the loop high and had a lot of time to recover
