Well....its been 14 months since I last dinged a heli....so I knew I had it coming.

This is the result of flying my Fury Ex whilst being a bit tipsy and trying to do very very low chaos . To top it all off it was the first flight of the day and look how much fuel I'd used before I twatted it !! What a Dont try that at home kids. I think its my worst ever crash and it'll cost a fair bit to mend me thinks. Still, its a good job I have a couple of backup heli's!

Here's the post mortem.

Canopy ( mullered! ), blades ( main and tail ), flybar, main blade bolts, flybar control arms, head button, blade grip, spindle, mainshaft, skid, strut, right hand side frame, front horizontal channel, landing gear mount, clutch dampeners, boom, boom supports, rudder pushrod, rods from swashplate up, 1 x S9252 gearset.

Delightful.

Cheers, Will.

My first crash with the Extreme came after about 12 months of flying it. Guess it wants to get it all in at once. It looked pretty much like that one, along with the same parts that were toast.

Total ended up around $550

Ouchy mama!

At least the guy is honest. Most people will try to find some dumb excuse to blame the crash on.

I am sure he will not do that again and I am glad he showed us what can happen with too many bubblies.
