I am new on model Heli's.
I checked my Raptor 30 and found play in the Main rotor blade grips. I put the bearings as described in the installation manual in both main rotor grips and put the two small screws in de blade grips to keep the
bearings in place. Then I put both blad grips on the spindle with the nylon nuts. Then I attached the entire rotor head on the heli.
I can move each of the blade grips about 1 mm in horizontal direction due to play in the grips (bearings can move horizontally in the grip despite of the two small screws in the grip).
Is this normal? If not, how should I fix the play.
Is the play a problem for the behaviour of the heli.

Yes thats normal, set it up and fly it and if everything is ok dont worry about it. If it troubles you then dismantle the head and use a lil JB weld to glue in the outer BB cases to the bladeholders being VERY careful not to contaminate anything. Of course the real prob will be in replacing any BBs that fail later on, frankly best to leave it alone. Plastic heads will have a small bit of play over all metal one, price we pay for cheaper. If everything was balanced well, it will be fine. Be sure to balance the paddles as well as the mains.

Yea! Remember how much bench play the old Concepts and Nexus had. They flew OK.

I got rid of the play in mine by going to metal blade grips from Cyber Heli. Well worth the money and so much more stable. I use them on my Raptor 50....
