I cannot get the recommended 10 mm spacing from the center of the horn to the ball on a jr 537 servo without the ball linkage rubbing against the middle servo. I can't get 9 mm either. I did mount the ball upside down as the instructions suggested.

I have had this problem too....onone of them I just used a smaller horn and the other I shimed up the aleron servo so that it was out of the way of the elevator servo....Jeff

Whether right or wrong, I got round this problem by connecting the ball upwards, opposite to the way suggested by the manual. I have ensured that the pushrod does not touch any other rod in all ranges. All seems well so far... Halil

I tried it right side up and all is A OK. I get frustrated with wrong instructions.

you can use the heavy duty dubro horn (short) with the ball upside down and shim the ail servo with a couple of washers. works for me on all my hawks I, II,III, IVSE dont have to do it on the ccpm raven thank goodness, c-ya

I was able to put my se together without any shims or adjustments...
guess i was lucky
