What kind of balancer are you using? If your flying that Raptor 30 as listed, make sure you cut and glue the ends on the root and then do a spanwise balance on a good balancer. (ie Koll Rotor Pro) You will need to get a weight of each blade as well before starting. (ie triple beams or decent digital scale) . You really shouldn't need to balance the chord on 550's that are on the raptor but the Koll does both. You can get one at Ricks Rc Helicpoters. $80. may seem like a lot but you pay for what you get.

Balancing Act?

I used the Kyosho to balance my Nexus woodies and never had a problem. Go ahead and do it that way, you don't need to go out and get another balancer at this point, spend the money on fuel instead.
