| Lemme get this straight.Rick's is great but Heli-world Sucks. And the reason why is cuz, you made an order close to the end of the day, and begged the guy to get it shipped that day. You call the next MORNING, and find out, it hasn't shipped yet.
Someone should send you to live in Egypt for a while, you can learn to be less demanding. Further, the REASON why you ordered from Heli-world vs. Heliproz, is cuz the shipping was $20 cheaper. Dude, if you want it TODAY, I suggest you drop by your LHS more often. If you want tracking #'s EXPECT to pay $20 more for shipping.
Of course, the kicker was the other guy who wrote: Rick's gets that much less complaints than Heli-world. I just saw one less than a week ago. It was a valid complaint too, Only Ron and Rick know what they are doing...
Personally, I like BOTH Heli-world and Ricks. They are both great online heli-shops. I have ordered from both of them about 4 times over the past year. Although, HELI-WORLDs stuff came in the mail before Rick's EVERYTIME so far, I won't hold that against them.
The only reason why I haven't tried other online shops? Their standard shipping method is UPS. You have to call the order in to get USPS shipping. Heli-worlds and Rick's allow you to choose how to want it shipped on the website. Heli-world is quick in e-mailing me out of stock info, while Rick's requires a little note to tell them to e-mail you (just as quick just remember to put the note).
For those who feel that they have been screwed by heli-world in the past year. I invite you to PM dennis-cica and see what he can do for you. Have your receipts ready, and be prepared to be gleefully
surprised.
Finally, Heliman. I am glad you got it resolved. I personally felt you are asking for too much. But I am glad that Peter Chao, bent over backwards to help you out. I personally want to see Century succeed, as I am quite addicted to their brand of helis.
