Dems are spinning this issue to distract public's attention from THE REAL PROBLEM. She has not paid on her way up (in her career) and will be ''killed" on her way down ! That's all.

Insider trading ?!?!? Come on !!! What had she gained ??? 200K ??? How about Qwest, MCI, Enron execs ??? They ripped not only their own employees, but all the shareholders !!! Their pensions went down the drain !!!

I feel sorry for Martha. I do not like her though. She is a victim of stupid socialism that is embracing this country. And this is not to say she is innocent !!!

These looser phony lawyers are supported by gay-democrats trying to make the authorities busy, so that they would not have resources to imprison really bad guys. Coyotes !!!

I do agree with what you are saying to a certain extent. Martha is the least of the problems compared to all of the Shareholder rip-offs but you have to start somewhere, i dont care if martha is made an example of. If she did it she deserves the time. Hey 200k is 200k. When i first heard the dollar ammount i was to say the least, dissappointed, she could have done better. Insider Trading is not a joke, it is against the law. It is unfair and unjust for her to do such a thing. I am glad the U.S. Government has the balls to prosecute her.
Besides, i would like to see what she has for cell block decorating tips!

I don't think she will spend one second in a jail cell, much less have time to spend to decorate it. She is an incredible business woman but also one greedy bitch! And greed will overpower brains any day. So it would not surprise if she did do this for $220K. But what does she care, what is an attorney going to do to her? Nothing. If found guilty, she will end up paying huge penalties and that is it. That is what is so great about our country, if you have the money, you can get away with anything!

It will be interesting to see what happens to her "image" if she is found guilty. She has been marketed as a "little miss homemaker." But she is far from that and her "true colors" are beginning to show. Wonder what the execs at Kmart are going to do with her and her branding image?

Hey, Dustin. I hear you. They (phoney lawyers) can not make even the case of insider trading.

She got the tip from her broker ! Now they are trying to charge her with "intentional inflating her company stock price".

And this is what worrisome. I read it as "we want you down baby, does not matter what reason/justification there would be".

This is insane.

200k is a lot of money for me. But my point is that she should not be imprisoned, as they want her to. She probably should pay a fine.

I am sure there will be a lot of sympathy with her if the jerks take it too far.

I think you forgot the entry for "Who the Hell Cares",
