| I was just wondering if I can use a smaller width safety washer on the spindle. The problem is that I just my new V-blades (14mm root/4mm bolt/700mm) came in and one of them rubs the head of the spindle bolt that holds the grip on. I checked and triple checked the head to make sure it was assembled right. Finally, we put a bolt through both blades and found out that one blade is longer by about 1.75mm from the bolt hole to the spindle bolt (just enough to scrape). Should I send the blades back to Vic or should I just use a smaller safety washer and be done with it??

M.A. must have changed the bolt. I'm building my Fury now and my spindle bolts did not have a flange on them. Instead the kit has you use a safety washer part #0327. My kit was made in January so alex according to my kit and instructions is correct about the spindle bolts and safety washers. Must be an update.
