| tail bladesI'm using Raptor 60 tail blades on my Raptor 30 which I converted to a 50 size with OS 50, 8.5-1 gearing, long boom, 600 CF blades and many upgrades. I needed more tail authority to tame the torque of the OS 50. I had to cut about 1/8" off the root of the Raptor 60 tail blades in order for them to fit in the stock Raptor 30 tail blade grips. However in a 30 ship I could see them robbing too much power and not being benificial, not to mention not sure about the clearance that would be available with the stock 30 configuration with stock boom and 550 blades  |
