So far I think my fury is a bid pricy. So far I have about 1400 into it and I still need more. I plan on spending about 300-600 more. A lot of money in the air at once. LIke 2 raptors

I have

2 9201's (20 each got them used)
1 9253
1 401 gyro (200 with servo)
os 61 ec (220)
ksj muffler (105)
sab 680 carbon blades (85)
sab 106 tail blades (20)
The kit (670)

I had a
1 9101
1 9201
1 spcm reciever
8103 transmitter
switch and batery.
fuel lines

I plan on getting v paddles and the weights. Then getting some upgrades in the head. Maybe a gv1 . I want to get digital servos after I fflew it a little.

I am sure you have a lot more in your fury mine is going to be the minimum.

YOu can see what I have done so far in my gallery.

I am afraid to add it up but here goes.

9CHP(old 7UHPS has no CCPM) - 350
OS91 - 365
149 reciever, 3 9252's, 502 gyro with 9253, GV1 - 850
Harati muff - 145
dynatron - 65
starter dog bone (cup) -10
header tank - 15
filters and tubing - 10

That's $1,810 and I am still waiting for the extreme to be released... Add 800 for the kit, 50 for the paint and 100+ for blades and I should be at $2760. When I started buying the parts I expected it all to cost under $2000. I think I might buy a 30 size at use the fury as a display model.

I have to compete with your fury paul.

No they are more precise which is better for ccpm. The 9201's will work fine, but it would bother me knowing you have better servos in yours. I will fly it when it is complete and I feel confident that it will fly without any problems. That should be this spring. I could have flown it ealier, but my wallet isn't as big as yours to buy spare x cell parts.

Do you want to share how much you paid for your fury paul. That is the title of the forum.

TO RussNY

I thought my fury would be a little cheaper too. I just didn't want to cheap out so I wanted to buy some better stuff. Never paid 105 for any muffler and that was the cheapest price for it. That can buy 2 40 size airplane engines , with mufflers, and shipping with money left over.

Just built it

Fury Kit 60E = 659.00
680V Blades = 120.
CY Muscle Pipe = 95.00

Off the shelf:
OS 61 SX WC
3ea 9202
1ea 9001
1ea R-148 DP
GY401 & Servo

Best thing to do is don't add it up. It just upsets you when you pile it all in.

I spent close to $3500.00 for everything, not including a visit ,that's coming up, to spend a day with Todd Bennett and Jason Krause at the 3d flying school with my new Fury .91 that's loaded. I know this is quite a bit, but I had nothing, no starter, field box, glow driver, ect. So buying everything at once that it takes to field and fly an r/c heli adds up quickly. I did buy what I thought was top of the line. I have owned 7 other helis in my modeling career and after 20 years or so you spend quite a bit, but over time it does not seem like a lot.

It is a hobby? Right?

I spent about 1800$ with this set-up:

Fury 60 expert
YS .61 ST II
Hatori 80/90 muffler(two piece)
Qty 3 - 9252's @ $ 85 from helihut
1 9404 (throttle)
GY-401 with 9253 servo
Rotorsport 700's
9 channel PCM receiver
2700 NiMi battery pack
Carbon tail blades

(Super 8 radio not included in price)

The digitals run nice, but if I move the collective fast up and down I notice some nice control interaction. Some say its negligable in flight, I say not. I need to get the Futaba 9Zap WC2 with the servo acceleration feature so I can mix out the control interaction. So tack on $850 for the transmitter. So now my total would be $2650. Cha-Ching.
