I got it

Hi guys , I finally found the best deal on a brushless system for my voyager e at www2.jonction.net/~icare/icare.htm . ,Étienne Dorig ( the owner ) was very helpful in choosing the right set-up at the right price for me .

What setup did you go with for your VE. I also have a VE, and was planning on the Astroflight setup too. Any plans for a li-poly setup in the future? Have you successfully got it to hover w/ the stock setup, and how?
Thanks,
Andy W.

Hi andyman
Yes mine did fly over 30 times with sanyo 7 cell 2400 and stock set-up for around 7 to 9 minutes per flight but it may be the mild temperatures here in Québec that helped by keeping the whole system cool .

I just finished assembling a stock voyager for my friend last week and just like mine , after 4 flights the motor was giving great performance and swift climbing .
I would begin by checking every moving parts to make sure everything is freely moving , most importantly the gear backlash on the pinion like they mention in the book on lower page 14 and the tail strap really should'nt be as tight as mentionned in the book.

As far as brushless goes I bought mine yesterday and I just can't wait till that darn wind calms down . I bought a hacker c40 8L with a kontronic smile 40-6-12 esc and will let you in on my review . I bought it at www2.jonction.net/~icare/icare.htm and Étienne (the owner ) was very helpful in choosing the right system for me .

Hope you get some air time because the v-e is really a fun and rugged machine . When you get it right you will enjoy it !!!
