I do notice that the magizine is getting worse though, they have changed the whole style of the magizine in the last 3 or 4 issues and I think tha it has gotten worse, not better as they intended it to be.
Strange,. I thought it had got better, 6 months ago I wasn't going to renew my sub, but I just have. Even Russ D. seems to have had some lessons in how to write. If they could just get rid of that Morris chap and use the pages for something useful, I'd be a happy reader.

Is it just me or are most of the guys picking apart MHW Brits? I'd think you'd be proud of what your learned MHW country men have done for the world of model helicopters over the last several years! I am. Look at how the circulation has grown during the latest management. I don't think many could manage such a feat.

You are correct, most of those complaining are Brits but as you know we have a reputation for NOT complaining about the service we receive (those in the antipodes may disagree). There always comes a point where we take our business elsewhere. Being proud of something doesn't mean that you can't criticise it, this has been a contributing factor in many of the great achievements of our very long history and one of the things that makes Britain GREAT. For example: I am deeply proud that our parliament is the mother of all parliaments but that doesn't mean that I would not feel it necessary to criticise it from time to time.

BTW below is what I might consider a rant...but that's just my humble opinion.

I'm disgusted, do they think that we are all completely stupid?
I've just received my July copy of Model Helicopter World (MHW)magazine, what a waste of trees."

Check the title.

Ain't it funny. Here the maufacturers (and now the mags too) have to to a good job or else prepare to explain themselves to real users.

MHW

Excuse me for going back to the original post.

My current subscription runs out in a couple of months - I don't think I'll renew it.

I enjoyed it when I started out flying a couple of years ago, eager to digest as much info about the hobby as I could.

Maybe its just me but the mag seems to be stuck in a rut. Its a shame. Last year there was a mag launched in the UK called Rotorsport, as far as I know it lasted one issue.

What kind of articles should we be asking the MHW team to write for us?

Personally I'd like to see more articles along the lines of getting the best out of lower price helis and low to mid range radio equipment. Some sort of hints and tips regular feature would be good. An occasional article about real flash helis is a good treat - but not all the time.
