I heard out of those 3 the hornet comes closest to the behavior of nitros.

Is that true - can anyone share their experiences

I narrowed it down to those 3 ....

Thank you

How much work?

Well how much do you want to work on one of these?
The Hornet is a cool little helicopter, but have lot's of CA and patience ready at hand when you start working on it.
They are NOTHING like Nitros except that the blades on top make them go up and the ones in the back make it turn.
I have been flying Helicopters for 2.5 years and it took me that many months to get it flying right.
Then let's talk flight times and cost......

If I was to do it all over again I would buy a Hummingbird. Can't beat the price and they seem REALLY tough as compared to the Hornet.

the hornet flies way better than all the others. ive flown all of them, other than the hummingbird. Flown them fixed pitch, and collective pitch. All of them take a while to fly right, but when they do, they fly great. The hornet will out perform the rest. It flies alot like its BIGGER brother the nitro helis. It does cost as much as a new nitro heli, but it flies as good. It does have ALOT of power for the size. If you put a brushless motor, and a esc with a govenor in it, it has nearly as much power as a 50.! Flgith times???? you can get around 15-16 minutes on a single charge with li poly batteries.
