I was beginning the 7th flight on it and I lifted off and it went crazy. It started glitching in each direction(left to right). Also it pitched up and down bouncing on the ground. The blades hi and it beat itself to death. I cheched my reciever it was fine. I had range cheched it and flown it 6 times without a glitch. Do you guys have a idea of what happened?
It took out:
Mah 710's
Sab 106's
Boom
Torque tube
landing gear
clutch
boom supports
2- 9252's
and some servo supports.
PS: I could see the sparks from the clutch. It almost caught fire. WHEW
Where should I get the parts?

Were you using PCM? A proper setup might have saved you from this. Of course, it very well could have been a power related problem (battery, switch, connections).

OH Noooooo............... as Mr. Bill would say.

Sorry to hear about your Fury, sounds like some kind of radio
interference? Possibly someone on the same channel?
Watch out for chafed wiring and also try jiggling the sw too.
Retest your rx by tapping lightly on it or some other vibration.
I think Rick's has the best stock of MA parts.

I would just like to say that as I was rebuilding my X-spec, I was moving the battery pack around (while it was on) and the thing lost power for a second and came back on. After like half an hour of looking, I discovered that the connector on my battery looses contact with the battery if you move the wires in a certain way. Once I found the position, I could reproduce it every time. All it would have took was a little bit of vibration in the air to cause this to happen, and result in a crash like what just happened to you. Scary! But glad I found it on the ground. (My crash was caused by something else (my thumbs!))

Take a look at your main power switch.

My Fury crashed in it's early life too, the standard power switch can't handle the draw of the digital servos. If you are using a heavy duty switch then I guess you need to keep looking.

I have had 3 crashed machines due to power switch failure so even if you where using a heavy duty switch don't rule it out.

Sorry to hear about your lost. It sounded like a major glitch. But...Why are you using an FM receiver on a $2000 machine? No offense intended. PCM is the way to go and it is only $130 with crystal from Helihut. With PCM, you could program FailSafe and it could prevent a crash. I even use a PCM receiver in my Raptor.

my friend had the same thing with a brand new fury extreme, in its first flight went down tail first.

It kept on dancing like a screeming pig on the ground without boom in it for at least 1 minute (is very long when watching!) full throttle till the engine died, it was not possible to approuch as it was turning very fast.

the flybar was twisted completely around the head, he never new what it was as everything was broken!! (both blade holders broken, chassis, receiver, etc)

nice to watch at distance (for once) but very painfull when coming close

next day started building a new one

I know what happened

by looking at your photos, you tied the antenna to the boom support which is the least thing an antenna enigneer will do. Don't do that!

The antenna stops about 2 inches before where it is tied to the boom support. So that would not be it. In fact i now have 30 flights on this machine No more problems other than the canopy eats through grommets like crazy
