| pistonMake sure that the piston ring is NOT overlapping the piston pin that holds the ring in place. I take a pencil and mark the location of the pin on top of the piston so I can make sure the ends of the ring are on either side of the pin. Also, I oil up the ring and ring groove, and the sleeve walls to help. Sometimes it can be a pain, but Take Your Time and be patient. It'll go, just may take a little while. Don't force anything. When you got it square to the sleeve and as mentioned above, it'll go.
