Impressive Bird !!! Makes me wish I had unlimited funds.

I noticed your collective servo is not in the tray slot as per the instructions. What's up with that ?

Most people I know flip the sevo around so that the pushrod is more vertical or straight up & down. The straighter the better.

That... is a lot of aluminum and carbon. Wow.

I can see why you'd flip the servo around though... that C/Al elevator arm's connection point is so far back from stock that you'd be running what... a 50 degree linkage if you didn't switch it around? That's got to be a very quick elevator.

Also, it looks like your rubber grommets on the servo ears have been replaced by something that really looks like aluminum, but that wouldn't make sense... what is that?

Any interferance problems with the gyro being right above that servo? They're usually planted in the back just behind the main shaft...

Trying to find something you -haven't- upgraded is a bit like finding Waldo... lets see how I fare...

- plastic mixing assembly (to aluminum)
- aluminum boom supports (to carbon)
- plastic main gear (to aluminum)
- plastic servo tray (to carbon)
- steel linkages (to carbon)

That's all I can spot. Anyone else spot something I missed?

1up's got a point, that's not a Raptor anymore. Maybe call it a Bird of Prey.

More Pictures

... from all who have the ability. I'm very insterested in setups.
The manual is one thing, pictures are another.
For instance, collective is flipped and allowed in tray #2 because of the tail mounted rudder servo.

Let's HAVE IT !!! More pictures !!!

As long as we are on the subject...

I have a PHI Hurricane and this is the way it comes right out of the box.

The only plastic is the ball links.
A great flyer and a very reasonable price I might add.
