Thunder Tiger Raptors 30-90 - Imperio > Clutch bell runout

I’m building my first kit, a Raptor 50, and am now installing the servos etc. In checking the mechanics I noticed a wobble of the clutch bell. It does not rub and appears to spin freely, but it wobbles. I borrowed a dial indicator and the bottom of the bell varies .005”. I have loosened the bolts attaching the engine to the mounts and the mount to the frame, but have not been able to lessen the wobble. I am brand new to the hobby and a friend suggested I replace the Pinion gear and/or the bell and I not start the engine or fly the heli til I correct the problem. The dealer said I would not know if it was a problem until I actually flew the Heli. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Is the motor installed and aligned? I would suggest that you fly the heli, or better yet get someone experienced to trim it out and see if there is any vibration.
Your quest for a vibration free heli is what should be done but if you are just learning a slight vibration may be acceptable depending on the severity. An experienced builder/flyer will provide you with the guidance you need.
Drive/fly/swim, or whatever it takes to get some experienced help, after he trims it all out and gets it flying right buy him lunch and pick his brain for more information- and listen to what he says.
