| I’m building my first kit, a Raptor 50, and am now installing the servos etc. In checking the mechanics I noticed a wobble of the clutch bell. It does not rub and appears to spin freely, but it wobbles. I borrowed a dial indicator and the bottom of the bell varies .005”. I have loosened the bolts attaching the engine to the mounts and the mount to the frame, but have not been able to lessen the wobble. I am brand new to the hobby and a friend suggested I replace the Pinion gear and/or the bell and I not start the engine or fly the heli til I correct the problem. The dealer said I would not know if it was a problem until I actually flew the Heli. Any suggestions would be appreciated. |
