e-Century Hummingbird - Swift > Hummingbird Vibration

I've been flying my hummingbird for a couple of weeks now, I've balanced and re-balanced everything, but I keep getting some vibration and nodding creeping in. The tail rotor is bang on, as is the main rotor and paddles.

Anybody have the same trouble, or any tips on what else to check?

Cheers

I found my vibration to be the fly bar it's self was off, one side just a little bit longer than the other once I got that it had a lot less vibration but it still has some but not much...also double check the paddles, tracking, etc...

Hi,

Yeah, i've got same problem at moment...checked all balance, main shaft, tail shaft everthing...got me miffed, it was made 10 times worse when i added a home made carbon head stiffener- but this was not so much vibration, but nodding, that was more "pronounced" when backing off the throttle, hover, or at the end of a fast flyby, with a higher headspeed it seemed fine.

Without the stiffener, the nodding has become less, but general vibration has increased, and it pitches up loads again in fwd flight as usual.........

Yeah, I've had a terrible problem with nodding, but I put that down to low head speed. In truth, I think this heli is woefully underpowered. The head speed just isn't getting there and flight times are not spectacular. I'm going to swap the motor out for a Graupner 300 as I've had good reports on this forum about those.
