ok i have probaly yhe most stupid question out here but i bought 2 different remote glow adapters and i cant get neither of them to work. is there a trick to them that i am to stupid to figure out.....hehe? if i put the glow heater right on the glow plug it heats right up and turns red but is i try and use either of the adapters i get nothing> hope someone can help me out,

how about some information about how you connected them?

if the remote has one wire, then the wire goes to the plug but the
mounting bracket of the remote MUST be attached to the engine
(through a mounting bolt).

If the remote has two wires, then the second wire must contact the
engine somehow (mounting or even backplate).

loctite?

If you have the a single wire remote glow adaptor, do not use loctite on the screw that mounts the remote glow to the engine. Loctite does not conduct electricity.

i was trying to make sure it worked before mounting it, i take it it needs to be grounded to work then?

basic electricity. it needs a complete circuit to work.
