I've found that an 8x10 is fine for those who want a picture they can show off. Most want a TIF, GIF, or JPEG in electronic form (on a 1.44k or CD) which they can manipulate themselves. On occasion you may find a customer who doesn't have the know how or capabilities to manipulate the picture themselves. In that case you can ask what the intended use will be for and you can quote a price to do it for them.
