The G26 comes with a Champion RZ7C. The NGK alternative is CR8HVX, or HIX. What plugs are you using and where might I get them for less than $7.50? Also, how often are you changing out plugs and what should I be looking for as far as colorization or glitching?

You might try your local auto parts stores, they will probably
have to order them and want you to buy the box of 10.
I used to get the plugs NGK BMR7A for my Xcell from Napa Auto Parts
box of ten about $2 each.

Your local small engine shop may have them. Chances are they will have to order them and will want you to buy a box of them.

The color should be a light brown. If it is black you are running too rich and if it is white you are running too lean.

Set the failsafe on your throttle to a low setting. When the plug starts to go bad the throttle will let you know.

Try this place for plugs, they have an NGK equivalent for the champion only better. Around $3.
