Besides some of the online stores, Ricks, Heliproz, HeliWorld. Heres a couple of links I found on the web for painting. A good friend in a body shop can always help out too...

Hope these help. Search the web, or magazines for more.

You could paint it your self too. There are several ways to do it but one key technique matters.

With the Raptor (bleach bottle) canopy you need to use Flexible bumper primer and adhesion promoter to have it last. After that paint it anyway you want. Final coats should be a good quality clear coat. Local autobody shop can do the clear coat for next to nothing.

But truth is Canopy FX does a great looking canopy and if I would be willing to part with a canopy and get it paintied he's the guy I would go with.

Hey, I know this isnt a cool painted canopy but check this out. I just bought a raptor 30 and was building it. A few buddies fly rappys and every one eof them look like the one on the box, boring white with the decals, So I came up with this, it may not be original but I have not seen it done yet or heard about it on the net.
I took the canapy and put it in one of those $5.00 foam coolers, I then added very hot water and got a packag of rid, clothing dye from krogers, drug stores also carry it. The color I used was Aqua Blue, I let the canopy soak in it over night and darn if this thing isnt cool. It looks as if it came from the factory that way, no need to wory about uel on it, I even soaked it befor I cut out the little bubble for the tinted windshield or even the holes that go on the post that hold it on, and when I did cut them off, guess what, It is blue all the way through, I even dyed the tail rotors and the skids and back fins, with a blue tail boom, this thing really looks great, I will get a photo of it. Try it, in any color you like. Dale

Go to Raptor technique website here's the link. He has a section which details the painting process. I followed his instructions when I painted mine. Visit the gallery.
